Just want to take a minute to give a great big thank you to everyone at Gill Services! We were recently required by our home owner's insurance carrier to have our 1000 gallon underground heating oil tank removed. As you might imagine we were quite anxious, concerned, you name it. We didn't know what to expect so naturally we expected the worst...but the team from Gill re-assured us from the beginning that they had the the expertise to handle the job and for us not to worry. They were right! They were on time, on schedule and were as concerned about our property as we are. They had the tank out and gone in just a few hours, and much to our amazement, we only lost one shrub! Paul was like a surgeon with the backhoe. We just couldn't have hoped for a better result! Thanks Paul, Steve, James and of course Mary! Gill Services is the best!

I hired Gill Services to remove an old oil tank out of the basement. It had been there for thirty years. Gill Services came in, pumped out the oil and cut the tank into pieces. They were pleasant and professional. The price was reasonable and scheduled at our convenience. This is a first rate, company and I highly recommend them.

I was very pleased with the services provided by Gill Services...they did the job on the dates we set in advance. They removed an in- ground tank and installed a new one inside the residence , all on the same day........the job was well done too........they were pleasant to deal with as well...

The Newport County YMCA contracted with Gill Services to remove an in ground 4000 gallon oil tank and install a Convault 2,000 gall above ground tank. The job was completed in a professional manner that was flawlessly executed in timely and convenient manner. I have worked with Gill Services over the past ten years on various residential and commercial jobs without a problem. They dealt with all aspects and were extremely cooperative in helping me plan this particular project. I would recommend working with them in any applicable capacity. The comments that follow are influenced by experience evaluating many men during 30 years as a Navy carrier pilot followed by a tour as manger of manufacturing engineering at a facility of General Dynamics. First, I was told that they would arrive between 0700 and 0730. Their truck rolled in at 0705. From the time the two clean, clean cut and shaven men introduced themselves for a potentially dirty job till they left they displayed the type efficient, coordinated industry and enthusiastic morale I have not witnessed since flight operations on a carrier deck. There was no wasted time or motion. While one pumped oil for the tank the other removed, capped and cemented the copper filler lines in the basement. Every step emphasized cleanliness and the premises were left as clean as found. They were friendly and responsive. Never once did they over used and sometimes facetious phase, “to please the customer” occur. Their performance spoke more eloquently than words and emphasized that it was the normal professional way they and the company operated. When I comment positively, they honored the founder and management by saying that they were well treated by the company. In essence, they represented themselves and the company well.
